1. Automatic updates scheduler is added.
2. Added new "Untrusted application excludes" feature.
3. An ability to remove files with "Defense Excludes" dialog is added.

During improvement process, there is a serious error have made with 2.08 build. Thanks to one of DefenseWall's users, it have been quickly discovered. I'm terribly sorry for that. DefenseWall HIPS 2.09 is released in order to fix.

DefenseWall HIPS 2.07 is released. This version fixes one BSOD issue.

DefenseWall HIPS 2.06 is released.
1. Added protection against GetKeybnoardState AKLT keylogging method.
2. "Run as" command is working right way with .msi packages now.
3. More accurate work with advanced Microsoft Installer's features.
4. Fixed various problems with Windows Explorer's crashes/freezes under MS Vista.
5. Improved OpenOffice support.
6. Driver is hardened against buffer manipulations that may cause BSOD's.
7. "Terminate" button is now working with "You have untrusted processes running as trusted" notification window.
8. Many internal improvements.

DefenseWall HIPS 2.0 is released. This next generation of sandbox HIPS has following improvements:

1. Full Windows Vista 32-bit support.
2. Defense level is mighty increased.
3. GUI works under limited-rights user accounts.
4. Local network resource defense is hardened.
5. Hardened defense against advanced keylogging and clipboard data reading.
6. Untrusted movement control for Windows Explorer.
7. Additional GUI options and functions, its usability have been improved.
8. Online updates.
9. "Shoot into foot" defense.
10. Early defense initialization.
11. Program's registration by double-click on registration key file.
12. Special "Go Banking/Shopping" mode for online banking and shopping.
13. Many errors are fixed.
14. Added a lot of new known programs into "built-in" untrusted applications list.

DefenseWall HIPS v1.74 is released. This version fixes several compatibility issues and minor bugs. WMI control is hardened. Alternative malware installation way is covered. Now on rules are active for MS Office files.

DefenseWall HIPS v1.72 is released. Dynamic disks support (USB ones, for example), support for .hta files runs directly from Internet Explorer, multiple fixes (Acronis products compatibility issue, freezes with some AV products, multiple kernel memory leaks).

DefenseWall HIPS v1.62 is released. There are a lot of inner perfomance and compatibility issues are solved. The list of the build-in untrusted applications is mighty enlarged: now it consists of IE, Outlook, Outlook Express, Opera, Mozilla, FireFox, SeaMonkey, AOL Explorer, Netscape, Maxthon, Avant, Slim browser, K-Meleon, NetCaptor, ICQ Light, Yahoo IM, AOL IM, AIM PRO, Trillian, Google Talk, Miranda IM, QIP, mIRC, eMule, Azureus, BitComet, BitTorrent, Peer2Mail, BitTornado, LimeWire, StrongDC, The Bat!, Eudora, PocoMail, IncrediMail.

Also, DefencePlus (SE) is updated to 2.20 version.

DefenseWall HIPS v1.60 is released. This is highly important release- there are a lot of the important issues are improved and fixed (fixed "shadow untrusted processes", KillDisk, Rollbacks, FireFox downloads and a lot of the other issues, added process creation/termination via WMI protection, support for the .lnk, .key and .reg files, additional protection against ransomeware, some interface staff). Must have for all the DefenseWall users!

Independent DefenseWall's review have been published- the product has been admited as "Definitively Excellent"!

DefenseWall HIPS v1.51 is released. There have been found two critical bugs within 1.50, so 1.51 is a bugfixed version.

DefenseWall HIPS v1.50 is released. There are many improvements and fixes.
1.DefenseWall now protects archive (.zip, .rar,....) and document (.doc, .rtf, .pdf,...) files.
2.Script applications (.js, .vbs, .hta, .shb,...) are working now according the rules like regular executable files.
3."Rollback" and "allow to be modified" lists are separated, items within "allow to be modified" lists are automatically removed after a 15-day period if they are within "My Documents"/"Desktop" folder (and standard download folders).
4.Extended support for downloaded archive files. Now, if you open a downloaded file from the Internet archive with your archive program via double-click, this program starts as untrusted. Built-in Windows XP unzip tool is supported too.
5.Many internal improvements.

DefenseWall HIPS v1.40 is released. There are many improvements and fixes.

"Plugin injection" and MS Office protection, and file and registry key "Rollback feature" (it allows you to erase all the malware pieces under your full control!) are added. Multiple kernel memory and handles leaks, user-mode module memory leak (thanks to todd!), CPU over-usage and security issues (thanks to kareldjag!), and many other internal issues, are fixed.

DefenseWall HIPS v1.32 is released. It is one more bugfix version. It was impossible to add empty CD Rom drive/Floppy drive within the untrusted list with v1.30/1.31. Fixed.

DefenseWall HIPS v1.31 is released. As usually, it is bugfix version. System Safety Monitor compatibility issue, short names within start process routine and occasional freezes of the untrusted processes are fixed. Also Disable protection feature is improved- restart is not in need anymore.

DefenseWall HIPS v1.30 is released. There are a lot of the improvements. The list of the registry keys controlled is increased, DefenseWall's registry root is now forbidden for the untrusted to access, program now supports two work mode- regular mode and expert mode. DefenseWall HIPS v1.21 is released. It have been found that because of fixed mshta record within v1.20, "Add/Remove Programs" system window became untrusted (it is mshta-based script). The issue is now fixed.

DefenseWall HIPS v1.20 is released! Online Armor compatibility issues are fixed, the program's speed is improved, enable/disable protection feature is added (reboot needed).
