DefencePlus is daily used application. That why each
user may have its own preferences.
"DefencePlus settings" gives ability to configure DefencePlus.
"Protected memory pool"
This option set
memory used for anti-cracker protection for Microsoft Windows and
application. By default protected memory pool is 128 Mb. Even if
protected memory pool will be not enough DefencePlus would
automatically increase its amount, and asks you to restart the computer.
NOTE: This option is for expert users only!
"Enable protection at startup"
This option launch
DefencePlus at startup. This option is demanded when
cracker attacks are very often. By default this option is on.
"Play sound on attack"
This option allows
playing any sound you need when attacked. By default this option is on
and DefencePlus plays it standard alert sound "attack.wav".
But you can select any "*.wav" file to play it when attacked.
"Custom protection level"
"Custom
protection level" window can opened from the "Setting"
window.

"Hot keys"
Using hot keys is
the fastest and the most convenient way to control DefencePlus.
By default "Settings" window can be opened by "Ctrl + Alt +
S" hot key and "Attacks log" window can be opened by "Ctrl
+ Alt + A" hot key.
