Automatic Updates - Settings

The Automatic Updates feature (Advanced - Options), after being checked, will ask you to set up your internet connection to automatically check for new versions. There are three (3) choices:

Yes: The Check for updates window will open to allow you to set up your connection. (The default setting is 'Use direct Internet connection'.) DefenseWall will check once (1x) per day for new versions.

Next Week: DefenseWall will ask you again in seven (7) days.

Never: Automatic updates will be disabled.

With Automatic Updates enabled, DefenseWall will let you know when a new version is available and ask for your instructions. You may choose to install the new version now, later or not at all.

Yes: DefenseWall proceeds with a silent download and install, and asks if you want to restart now or later.*

Next Week: DefenseWall will ask again in seven (7) days.

Never: Automatic updates will be disabled.

* Note: the update is not complete without restart/later system start up.
