This allows you to Disable Protection 'on-the-fly'without system restart.
Right-click the Tray Icon - Click Disable Protection.
All Untrusted processes running will beterminated.
The Tray Icon turns gray. Protection is disabled!
The Disable Protection item will be checked.
Untrusted applications/processesareautomatically closed by DefenseWall if you
proceed - click OK.
The Main Program window will also indicate Defense is disabled.
To Re-enable protection, simply reverse those steps.
Select Disable Protection. Check-mark is removed by DefenseWall.
Tray Icon will now be in normal state; Protection is enabled.
Notification - Reminder
Protection has been disabled. If you start an application that is on the Untrusted
Applications List, it will run as Trusted! You have the option to Terminate that
process. When re-enabling protection, DefenseWall will notify you.
If you are running an Untrusted application or process 'as trusted' (ie: via Context
menu - Run as trusted) and disable protection, this notification will allow you to
Terminate it.
If protection is disabled when you start your computer,DefenseWall will alert you!
