MozillaGecko-based browsers and email clients such as Firefox, SeaMonkey, Flock,
K-Meleon, Netscape and Thunderbird Email will not update correctly nor will they
install/uninstall extensions, themes and add-ons correctly because the Application
Data folders and files are protected by DefenseWall.
When notified of updates, close the application - Right click the program Icon -
select Run as Trusted,and update - Close! Start the application normally
(untrusted) after the updating process is fully complete.
Plug-ins: such as Adobe Flash Player - go to the vendor's site, download the latest
file - Run as trusted (to install correctly).
Recommended: Get 'Update Notifier'extensionto manage extensions/themes
updates - it will notify you when updates are available via the menu bar icon.
Set your Options as shown below (Firefox) - 'Ask me what I want to do'; and if using
Update Notifier, you can uncheck the Add-ons box. The extension will take care of
it.
