Password Protection

Push the Password Protection button to set protection for all of the sensitive operations of DefenseWall (Run as trusted, Removing from Untrusted List, Advanced settings and Options, graphical user interface exit, etc.) with your Password.

Administrator or Power User rights are required to enable password protection.

Set up a new password: Enter your current (old) password (leave this field blank if you haven't set it up yet), Enter new password and Confirm new password .

Clear (disable) password protection: Enter your current (old) password and leave both new password fields blank.

Reset cached password: When asked for your password, DefenseWall will cache your password and not require you to enter it again during the same session. The cached password can be cleared at any time, thus requiring the password to be entered before performing another administrative task.

Unauthorized attempt to uncheck and change an Option: will result in request for the Password.
