Any files and folders can be set as Secured. The Secured Files List contains files and
folders (set by the user) that are protected from any kind of access by all Untrusted
threat gateways. All files withinSecured Folders are also protected.
For instance, you have added 'My Pictures'folderto the Secured Files List to
protect your precious photos and graphics files, then attempt to upload a picture
via IE, Opera, Firefox, IM, etc. The action will fail because 'My Pictures' folder (and
all files therein) is secured and protected.
However, you the user are not denied access to a secured file or folder. Think of it
as taking your passport or jewelry out of the safety deposit box!
In order to upload the picture(s) or file(s), remove it from the folder, or copy it to
another temporary location (ie: desktop) or, if working with several pictures, you
may wish to temporarily remove the 'My Pictures' folder from the Secured Files List
and add it to Secured Files again later.
